WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Go to Memphis with a personal tour guide.

Head to the Giza Plateau from your hotel in Cairo, and be ready for an amazing trip back in time. While you discover the background of this well-known location, your knowledgeable Egyptologist will show you the outsides of three pyramids: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.

You can enter one on your own (at extra expense) and explore; guides are not allowed inside. To take pictures of the three pyramids rising from golden beaches against the backdrop of Cairo’s skyline, follow your guide to the adjacent plateau.

After you’ve taken your pictures, proceed to the base of the Sphinx, where your Egyptologist will tell you more about the famous lion with the king’s head.

Proceed to Memphis, the historic Egyptian capital, from there. See ancient relics such as the collapsed statue of Ramses II.

When you get in Dahshur, your guide will go over the distinctions between the step and genuine pyramids, which were built in the 3rd and 4th dynasties.

You can choose how much time is spent at each location because this is a private tour, which allows for a really customised experience. It is optional for visitors to go to the Papyrus Institute to find out more about the creation of this well-known piece of art.
