WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The journey begins with a private, air-conditioned car picking you up from your accommodation in central Cairo or Giza.

After meeting your Egyptologist guide, tour the main attractions of the city. Your trip is private, so your guide can customise the schedule to fit your interests if there is anything you would like to see more of.

See the three Giza pyramids by going to the Giza Plateau in the El-Giza neighbourhood. Admire these enormous ancient tombs that date back to 2,500 BC, and discover the methods and motivations behind their construction. Enjoy free time to explore one of the pyramids’ empty interior chambers on your own (entry is extra charge). Your guide is not allowed to accompany you inside.

Look up at the enormous Sphinx, the mysterious figure of a lion with a human head that watches over the pyramids.

After that, enter Cairo’s Egyptian Museum, which is home to over 120,000 amazing antiquated objects. Allow your guide to take you through some of the main attractions, such as the main draw: Tutankhamun’s treasures. Discover the details of the boy king’s brief and turbulent reign while admiring his gold death mask, coffins, and burial goods. After that, take some free time to leisurely explore the museum.

Visit Cairo’s main souk, Khan el-Khalili bazaar, to round out your trip. Wander around the busy streets and maybe bargain for goods like gold, carpets, spices, and other items.

If you purchased the premium package with lunch included, stop along the way to eat.

Additionally, spend a brief visitation period at a papyrus institute to see the creation of age-old papyrus artworks. Take in some live performances by artists and, if you’d like, buy some papyrus paintings.

Your trip concludes when it’s time for a drop-off back at your hotel.
