WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Day 1:
You will begin your day tour to see the Valley temple, the Sphinx, and the Great Pyramids of Giza after breakfast at your lodging.
You proceed to explore Memphis and Saqqara in the afternoon.
You will then head back to your lodging in Cairo to have some free time.
Cairo, overnight
Day 2:
Begin your day excursion by seeing the renowned Egyptian Museum of Antiquities after breakfast at your lodging.
You will then head back to your lodging for some downtime.
Cairo by night.
Day 3:
You will be picked up for a day tour of Coptic Cairo after breakfast at your lodging.
Visit St. Virgin Mary’s Church, also known as the Hanging Church. Constructed in the 7th century, the ancient church derives its name from its position atop a doorway within the former Roman fort. Learn about its lengthy history while seeing the courtyard and interior with its screens, marble pulpit, and icons.
Following a visit to the Monastery and Church of St George, the only round church in Egypt, which dates back to the early 20th century, came Abu Serga, a Coptic church dating to the 5th century.
Next, observe the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which was formerly a Christian church.
