WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

DAY 1:

At the airport in Cairo, you will be greeted and taken to the hotel of your choice. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

Cairo, overnight

DAY 2:

Your journey of Egypt starts with a visit to the Sphinx and the Giza Pyramids after breakfast. A brief camel ride is included in your tour of Giza.

You will next travel to Saqqara to see the world’s oldest stone edifice, the stepped pyramid of Djoser.

Memphis, the former capital, will be the last stop on your journey.

Train to Luxor overnight

DAY 3:

Once you arrive in Luxor, you will start your tour by touring the East Bank, which includes the Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, before making your way to the hotel of your choice.

DAY 4:

The Valley of the Kings, the Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon are the first stops on your tour of the West Bank after breakfast.

DAY 5:

Following breakfast, you’ll take a fellucca to Banana Island, where you’ll check into your 5* Nile Cruise and begin your journey to Edfu.


Spend the night on board

DAY 6:

You will visit the Edfu Temple after breakfast, then cruise to Kom Ombo to see the temple, and finally sail to Aswan.

DAY 7:

After breakfast, you will begin with a visit to the High Dam, followed by a tour to Philae Island to the temple of Isis.

Overnight on board.

DAY 8:

A breakfast box will be ready for you to take with you on your early morning departure to the majestic Ramses II and Nefertari temples at Abu Simbel, compliments of Your Nile Cruise. Cairo by train.


Spend the night on the train

DAY 9:

Arrival to Cairo and you will visit the Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque and Khan El Khalili Market, the oldest market in Egypt.

Overnight Cairo.

DAY 10:

A full day tour to Alexandria includes visits to the Roman theatre, catacombs, and underground tombs; the Pompey pillar; the great library of Alexandria, located in the same location as the old library used by Cleopatra; and the National Museum, which houses numerous artefacts from various cultures, including Pharaohs, Romans, Coptic or Christian, Islamic, and Arabic.

Cairo by night.

DAY 11:

After breakfast at your hotel, you are free to explore on your own for the remainder of the day. After that, you’ll be driven to the airport in Cairo in preparation for your return trip.
