Tour Itinerary
Pickup Service:
- You’ll be picked up from your Cairo hotel at approximately 5:00 PM in a cosy, air-conditioned car, and you’ll be accompanied on the tour by an informed English-speaking representative.
El-Moez Street:
- Your Cairo by Night adventure starts as the sun sets. El-Moez Street, one of Cairo’s busiest and most historic thoroughfares, is the first destination. Its enchanting atmosphere is enhanced at night by the street’s exquisite illumination. During your walking tour, your guide will point out important locations such Bab Zuweila, Sultan Al-Ghuri Complex, Al-Azhar Mosque, and Khan El-Khalili Bazaar.
El-Fishawy Cafe:
- It’s time to explore El-Moez Street and then head to El-Fishawy Café to take in the lively Egyptian coffee culture. Nestled in the centre of Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, this 18th-century coffee shop has a rich history. You can take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere and possibly even hear some local musicians while sipping traditional Egyptian coffee or tea.
City of the Dead (Azbakeya):
- After that, the journey takes a more reflective turn as you travel to Azbakeya, popularly known as the City of the Dead. The City of the Dead, despite its name, is not a scary location but rather a thriving city where people live amidst their ancestors’ tombs.
- Your guide will describe how the people have converted the graves into homes and the cemetery into a bustling neighbourhood, illuminating the history and traditions of this unique location.
Drop-off Service:
- Around 10:00 PM, as the trip comes to a close, the car will leave you off at your Cairo hotel.
