WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Your guide will come get you from your Aswan hotel early in the morning.

Take pleasure in a four-hour air-conditioned trip from Aswan to Luxor to view the 300-acre (125-hectare) Karnak Temple, the greatest temple complex in Egypt, which honours the Amon, Mut, and Khonsu trinity of Thebes. Have free time to explore at your own pace.

Following a guided tour of the Karnak Temple, you will have lunch at a nearby eatery.

Visit the Queen Hatshepsut Mortuary Temple at Deir el Bahari, which is sculpted at the base of the el Qurna Mountain cliff, after lunch. The temple is the most popular on the west bank of Luxor.

Proceed to explore the most well-known Valley of the Kings, which is home to the tombs of the most well-known pharaohs to have ruled Egypt throughout the New Kingdom (1550–1080 BC).

Take amazing pictures of the two Colossi of Memnon, which are the only surviving statues of Amenhotep III, the pharaoh (1391–1353 BC).

After that, you can spend your free time shopping in Luxor or, if you’d prefer, drop you off at the Luxor hotel before returning to your Aswan hotel.
